Golden Dawn party attempts to shut down Mythicism Conference
A translation of part of the letter by Golden Dawn to the Mayor of Athens:
The Greek Constitution stated that the Orthodox Christian Faith is the dominant religion of our homeland. How can the ministry protect protect the holies of 2000 years of our homeland, if it does not intervene and allows the conference to take place, which is potentially heretical and aims to destroy the faith of Greeks?

The ultimate irony is that the supreme being in the universe should be so easily insulted.
They should know the well known Streisand effect phenomena which time and time again proved right, the harder you try to censor a piece of information more widely its going to publicized.
Most of Greeks didn’t vote the for fanatics from Golden Down. Mythicists should be grateful for free adv i think.
Did this conference, due to take place 3 days ago, proceed without interference, and are there any published reports on what transpired at it?
You can read more about the conference from links in my earlier post about it: http://vridar.org/2016/05/26/golden-dawn-party-attempts-to-shut-down-mythicism-conference/
Golden Dawn is an extreme right wing party. The letter is dated 18th May and the conference was scheduled for the 22nd — there has been no suggestion it did not go ahead.
Oh, that Golden Dawn. When I first saw the headline I thought of Ordo Hermeticus Aurorae Aureae and was surprised that they were still around.
