    For some WordPressian reason, if you post a comment it will appear to you as if it is online and through. But be assured that no-one else sees it until it passes moderation. The only way commenters will know if their comments have gone live is:

    if the comment is still there after 8 hours (or whenever Tim or I get a chance to attend to it)
    if they check on another computer
    if they see a reply addressed to them.

    Another way to know that your comment is approved is that it’s listed on the right margin, under Recent Comments.
