All of this misery can be placed at the feet of the “Great Powers” who played what they called the “Great Game.” In their arrogance and assumed superiority, they established lines on maps that did nothing but create misery, including the creation of Israel in 1948, done under UN auspices (with US support), not by the people of Palestine.
